John McHugh

John McHugh (Kilmainham, Dublin and late of Mullingar) 5th March 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Predeceased by his father Owen, brother Brendan and niece Katie. John will be deeply and greatly missed by his devoted family Pauline and Cilian Macnamara, his mother Una, siblings Eoin and Clare, father-in-law Philip, sisters and brothers in-law Mary, Hilary, Ruth, Judy, John, David, Stephen and their partners, his much loved and adoring nieces, nephews and godchildren, extended family, colleagues and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road D6W N279 on Sunday (March 8th) from 3pm to 5pm.
Removal on Monday morning to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 for a Funeral Service at 10am to celebrate John’s life , followed by cremation. House private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Irish Cancer Society cancer.ie
