John McKeown

The death has occurred of John McKeown, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Aughafatten, County Antrim. 

On May 2nd, 2023, John passed away, peacefully at home, surrounded by family. John was predeceased by his twin sisters, Margaret and Ann. 

He will be sadly missed by his much-loved wife, Pauline, daughters; Annette and Deborah, son Stephen, daughter-in-law Gráinne and adored grandchildren; Seán and Cillian. John will also be missed by his sister and brother, Marese and David, and his wide network of friends and colleagues.

John was a passionate businessman who thrived working with others to achieve great success with his business Romaquip.

Reposing at his son’s home at Hillside, Birr (R42 F820) on Thursday, May 4th, from 4.30pm - 7.30pm.

Funeral to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, on Friday, May 5th, at 9.45am for Funeral Mass at 10.00am, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
