Peacefully at Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Cathy, Paul, Ian and James. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, daughter and sons, sisters Cepta, Patsy, Elizabeth, Anne and Claire, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchild, the extended Melia and Manning family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Wednesday March 26, 2025 - Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Thursday March 27, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 11.00 a.m.
Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
