John Merry

Merry, John (Rathfarnham, Dublin), 14th March, 2026.

Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, with tender care from the staff at Tallaght University Hospital. Pre-deceased by his brothers Paul, Brian, Brendan, and his infant daughter Jean Marie. John will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kay (née Lally), his children Alana and Colin, daughters-in-law Kim Merry, and Jessie Gough, his beloved grandchildren Luca, Odile, and Paloma, extended family, friends, and fellow club members of O.B.R.F.C, and former colleagues of G.G.S.I, and 1959 class of Belvedere College.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Fanagans Rathfarnham Funeral Home, (Willbrook Rd, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, D14 W029) this Wednesday, 18th of March from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham on Thursday (19th March) arriving for 10am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
