Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Joseph, sisters Kitty and Tessy, brothers Kieran and Micky and his niece Claire.
John, in his 87th year, passed away peacefully, in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Esker Ri Nursing Home with his devoted family by his side.
John will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Betty, his children Joe, Martina, Declan and Sean, sisters Molly (Dowling), Nancy (Neary) and Helen, brother Jimmy, his grandchildren Leah, Kaylin, Aoife, Ellie, Daniel, Stefan and Evie, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Michelle, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, his honorary grandchildren Jake and Zoe, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Sunday, the 6th day of July – John will repose at his home in Ballydaly from 2 pm until 5.30 pm with removal to St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh (R35 V045) arriving at 6.30 pm.
Monday, the 7th day of July – John’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Colman’s Church, Mucklagh at 12 pm. Following mass, he will be laid to rest in Durrow Graveyard, (R35 E924).
