John passed away on Sunday, 6th October 2024, peacefully, but unexpectedly, while on holiday in Spain. Predeceased by his mother Anne, father John and brother Noel. John will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his son Eoin, daughters Donna, Sharon, Tara, Evelyn and Anita, his much loved 15 grandkids, his brother Declan, sisters Marie and Geraldine, his daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cushen’s Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown (Eircode; R21 V127) on Sunday, 20th October, from 10 am until 8 pm, with prayers at 6.30 pm. Removal from Cushen’s Funeral Home on Monday, 21st October, to arrive at St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown, for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in The Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.
