John Murphy
The death has taken place of John Murphy, Upper Lacknalooha, Mallow and formerly of Brackloon, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, who passed away peacefully on June 18th 2024 at Marymount University Hospice and Hospital, Cork, beloved husband of Gertie (née Russell), devoted father of Cecilia (Mansfield), Killian, Seán and Lisa (Bhaura) and brother of the late Dom.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sisters Ann (Caffrey) and Mary (Regan), brothers Pat, Tim and Tommy Joe, sons-in-law Morgan and Vince, daughters-in-law Sabrina and Hilary, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and relatives.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Thursday (June 20th) from 6pm to 7pm followed by Vigil Prayers.
A Service for John will take place on Friday (June 21st) at 2pm in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare (V14 PV30).
John's family would like to sincerely thank the Staff of Marymount Hospice, Cork who took such great care of him during his illness.
