John Murphy

Murphy (Murmont, Montenotte, Cork); on May 14th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital, John; beloved husband of the late Joan (née O’Donoghue) and much-loved father of Mary, John and Ciarán.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter, sons, grandchildren Linda, Stephen, Ciara, Sarah and Kate, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Derry, daughter-in-law Marianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Friday 16th May from 5.00pm to 6.00pm with Prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 17th May at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Whitechurch. Funeral afterwards to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. John’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.mycondolences.ie
