John Naughton

Naughton, John, Shanballymore, Ballinamore-Bridge, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Our beloved John departed this life on Saturday, 7th January, 2023, in the loving presence of his family and in the care of the kind staff of St. John’s Ward, Portiuncula Hospital. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and best friend Carmel (née Kilroe), his sons Matt, Seán, Joe, Eugene and David, his daughters-in-law Michelle, Denise, Theresa and Karen, his cherished grandchildren Andrew, Cian, Adam, Eoghan, Aisling, Diarmuid, Darragh, Niamh and Laoise, his great grandchildren Cara and Mia, his sisters Margaret, Lena, Nancy and Teresa, his brothers Malachy and Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends. John is predeceased by his parents Mattie and Mary Kate and his sister Kitty.

Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Ballygar, on Monday evening from 5.30 o’clock until 8 o’clock with removal afterwards to St. Brendan’s Church, Tohergar. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o’clock with burial afterwards in Ballygar Cemetery. House private, by request. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimers Society.
