A gentle and lovable soul, he was a true friend to all in his native Meelin. Among his greatest pleasures was watching GAA Matches on television, a simple joy that brought him great happiness. His daily walk to the village shop, followed by a quiet visit to the Church to light a candle, formed part of a cherished routine – now sadly, no more.
Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Sunday evening 3rd August from 6.30 pm to 8 pm, followed by removal to St Joseph’s Church, Meelin.
Requiem Mass on Monday 4th August at 12 o’clock, followed by burial at Clonfert Cemetery.
Solas na bhFlaitheas ar a anam uasal.
