The death has occurred of
John O Carroll (Hundy Dowling)
John O Carroll (Hundy Dowling) Lord Edward Street, Kilkenny City and formerly of St. John’s Cottage, Dublin Road, Kilkenny City peacefully in the excellent care of all the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny on Thursday 19th March 2026. Predeceased by his parents Tony and Peggy Dowling and his sister Minnie. John will be deeply missed by his sisters and brother Betty, Terry, Presilla, Lal, Jenny, Tony and Melly, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, niece Caroline, nephew Arran, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
MAY HUNDY REST IN PEACE
Hundy will be reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Sunday 22nd March 2026 from 5pm, concluding with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday 23rd in St. John’s Church, Dublin Road at 10.30am and followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.
