JOHN O'CALLAGHAN

O’CALLAGHAN (Pearse Road, Ballyphehane): On August 3rd 2022, JOHN (known to his friends as John the the beard), (late of Heat Merchants),passed away, unexpectedly, whilst returning from fishing at the Black Head. Beloved husband of his loving wife Betty (née Bermingham), devoted father to Eric and Tina and adoring grandfather to Sara and Ruby. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Willie and Brendan, sisters Angela and Kathleen, daughter-in-law Edyta, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends. An avid angler, he will also be missed by his fellow enthusiasts in the Anglesea Sea Angling Club.

Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Saturday (August 6th) from 3pm until 4pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (August 8th) at 12 noon in Church of the Assumption, Ballyphehane which will be streamed on www.churchservices.tv/ballyphehane/

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
