John has passed away peacefully, lovingly cared for by his family and the incredible staff of the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

 

Adoring father to Daisy and husband to Niamh, and sadly missed by his mother Bernie O'Callaghan (Springfield Drive), sister Nora O'Hora and her husband Martin, sister Charlet and her partner Aaron, brother Damien, his nephews Mason, Ali, Caiden and Lorcan, and niece Faye. Grieved also by Niamh's family - Séamus and Sandra McNally (Deerpark East); Ciara and James; Mark and Sarah; Sean and Katie, and Orla and Chris, and nieces Lucy, Isabelle and April. Remembered by all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbours in his adopted community of Killeen, his former colleagues from Berry's Print, and fellow film students of Mayo College Westport.

 

Predeceased by his beloved Nan, Nora Kilroy, his grandfather John Martin Kilroy, and his father, Jim O'Callaghan (Skibbereen). May they rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Navin's funeral home, Mill Street, Westport from 5-6.30pm Tuesday June 18th.

 

Removal from Navin's Funeral at 10am on Thursday June 20th . Funeral procession towards the Octagon followed by Cremation and Memorial Service in Shannon Crematorium at 12:45pm promptly on Thursday June 20th, all welcome to attend. John had style and lived his life in technicolour, so please feel free to wear your favourite bright clothes.
