John passed away peacefully in the Holy Family Nursing Home, Killimor on August 13th, 2025, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Nan, his daughter Breda, brothers Willie, Mick and Tony and his sister Bridie. Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Mary and Stephanie, son Paul, brothers Bobby, Jimmy and Joe, sisters Mary, Margaret and Teresa, sons-in-law Martin and Sean, grandchildren Eoin, Máire, Ciara, Aisling, Séamus, Dylan, Saoirse, Jack, James, Caolán and Ethan, his great-grandchildren Siabh, Donagh, Aoibh, Éabha, Senán, Ethan, Esme, Clara, Róise and Cian, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends,

Reposing at St. Mary's Funeral Home, Woodford (H62 YV04), on Friday, August 15th, from 6pm with prayers at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 16th at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Ballinakill (H62 EK29), with burial afterwards in Ballinakill Cemetery.
