John O'Connor

John O'Connor, New York and Athea, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully on the 15th June, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

John is predeceased by his parents, Mike and Bridget, Markievicz Park, Athea and his baby daughter Megan.

John will be sadly missed by his wife Paula, his children Peter and Chloe, their mother Catherine, Paula's children Kristina, Sinéad and Ciaran, brother Michael, sisters Mary, Nora and Tricia, granddaughter Megan, niece Rachel, nephews Niall and Oisin, son-in-law Eddie, brother-in-law Karl, The Coyle family, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, devoted friends and valued work colleagues.

May John's gentle soul rest in peace

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John in St. Bartholomew's Church, Athea, on Friday, 11th July, 2025 at 3pm.

Internment of ashes will take place afterwards in the family plot, Holycross Cemetery, Athea.
