John O'Doherty

O’Doherty (Araglen) On 25th September 2024, peacefully, with his family, in the wonderful care of all the staff at Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown, JOHN, Gortnaskehy, Araglen.

Beloved husband of Maureen (nee Hickey) and loving father of Sean, Marie (Nugent), Linda (Casey) and Sharon (O’Gorman), brother of the late Kathleen (Donovan) and brother-in-law of the late Jimmy Donovan and Tom Hickey.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Nellie (O’Regan), Breda (Quane), daughter-in-law Karen (Noonan), sons-in-law Davy, Kieran and Brian, grandchildren Seanóg, DJ, Faye, Rory, Kyle, Nellie, Paige and Ellis, brothers-in-law Joseph O’Regan and John Quane, sisters-in-law Breda Carroll and Lena Donovan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, P61 XD85, on Friday (27th September) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Araglin, P61 DN28 on Saturday (28th September) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in nearby cemetery.
