John O'Donnell

John (Johnny) O’Donnell, Knockmoyle, Kyebrack, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

 

Johnny passed away peacefully on 1st January, 2025, in the tender care of his family, and the staff of St. Finbar’s Ward, University Hospital Galway.

 

 

Predeceased by his parents, Paddy and Mae O’Donnell, his brother Billy, sister Kitty, niece Susan and his brothers-in-law Pa, Myko, Pat, and Denis.

 

Johnny will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Gerard and Anthony, daughters Linda and Sharon, daughter-in-law Geraldine, son-in-law Andy, grandchildren Christopher, Megan, Jason, Nelson, Nathan, Jamie, and Samantha, great-grandchildren Lorcan, Harrison and Harper, sisters Mary, Nora and Bridie, brother-in-law Martin, nephews, nieces, extended family and his many friends.

 

Reposing at St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Woodford (H62 YV04) on Friday 3rd January from 4-7pm. Funeral cortage arriving at St Joseph’s Church, Ballinakill (H62EK29) for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 4th January, at 12.00pm, with burial after Mass in Curra Cemetery.
