John O'Gorman

Formerly of Castletown, Tinryland. Carlow.

13th April, 2026. Peacefully at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Carlow, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Maureen (nee O'Sullivan) and much loved father of Niall, Patrick, Emer, John and Brian. Pre-deceased by his brother Patsy, sister Ann (Mullane) and his grand-daughter Cara Lily. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife and family, daughters-in-law Sinead, Emma and Marge, son-in-law and friend Jimmy, grandsons Cian, Darragh, Ben, James and Seánie, grand-daughters Ciara, Grace and Anna, he will also be missed by his siblings Marie, Martha, Helen and Michael. John will be greatly missed by his former work colleagues of Corcorans in Carlow and his may friends and acquaintances he made during his music career (Irish Mist) in Carlow and surrounding counties.

Reposing at his daughter Emer's home, Pollerton Little, Dublin Road, Carlow, R93 D075 on Tuesday 14th April from 3.00p.m. concluding with Prayers at 7.00p.m. Removal from there on Wednesday morning to St. Mary's Church, Bennekerry for Requiem Mass at 11.00a.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
