John O'Grady

The death has occurred of John O'Grady, of Templeogue/Kilkenny City, on 19th June 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary and children Daithí, James and Jennifer.  He was adored 'Gaga' of Jayden, Leonardo and Angelica.  Will also be missed by Daithí's partner Elisa (and Italian family), Jennifer's partner Dean, Dean's mother Bridie, his sisters Lillian and Margaret, brother Michael, in-laws John and Miriam, nieces and nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Given John's long stay in hospital and hospice we wish to extend our special thanks to all those who sustained John with their regular visits and encouragement, especially his lifelong friend Liam.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. 

A celebration of John's life will be held in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, on Friday at 2:30pm, followed by cremation.
