John P. Murphy

John P. Murphy, Kiskeam Village (Ex Post Master of Kiskeam Post Office and President of Kiskeam GAA), passed away peacefully on January 16th 2024 in the exceptional care of the staff of Mallow General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary (née Fitzgerald) and devoted father of Catherine (Mulvihill), Tim, Bridget (Hiney), Donnacha, Seamus and the late Pat.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brother Connie and his wife Lily, his adored grandchildren Muireann, Gearóid, Ruth, Sarah, David, Oisín, Tom, Charlie, Penny, Ivy and Noah, sons-in-law Eamonn and Aidan, daughters-in-law Sinead, Siobhán and Cathy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his large circle of friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Casey’s Funeral Home, Kiskeam, on Wednesday (January 17th) from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Reception into the Church of the Sacred Heart, Kiskeam, on Thursday (January 18th) for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
