Died November 12th 2025

 

Predeceased by his loving wife Maureen, his parents and his brothers and sisters.

 

Much loved father of Marian, Des, Carl and Denise. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Ciara, Colm, Niamh, Laura, Darragh, Jonah, Sophie, Tia, Millie, Lily and James, his great grandchildren Carla, Zoe, Adrianna and Cillian, sisters Ann and Margie, sons-in-law Gerry and Michael, daughters-in-law Lisa and Yvonne, nephews, nieces, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Angela and Noel Norris, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May John Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Killure Bridge Nursing Home, Killure, Waterford on Friday November 14th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with vigil prayers at 7:30pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Saturday November 15th in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butlerstown, Waterford, at 12:00noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Heartfelt thanks to Mary Burke and the wonderful staff in Killure Bridge Nursing Home who looked after Dad with great care and compassion and supported the family in his final days.
