John Raftery, Lisduff, Attymon, Athenry, Co.Galway.

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of John on Monday, February 9th, following a courageous battle bravely borne.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jim and Nono.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Mary, son Eoin (Mary), daughters Siobhán (Brian), Maura (Paul), Eimear (Mark) and Aisling, grandchildren John, Ava, Matt, Paddy, Sonny, Brídín and Nora, brothers Jimmy and Joe, sisters Mary (Nevin), Helen (Keary) and Noreen (Duane) sister in-law Maureen, brothers in-law Patsy, Oliver and Jimmy, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, friends, relatives and good neighbours.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry (H65 KP70) on Wednesday 11th February from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving to St. Iomar’s Church, Killimordaly (H65 E761) on Thursday 12th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.ie/) and Galway Hospice (https://galwayhospice.ie/donate/). House Private Wednesday and Thursday morning by request.
