The death has occurred of
John Rooney
John Rooney of Redford Park, Greystones, formerly Charnwood Estate, Bray, Co. Wicklow and Glenade, Co. Leitrim. December 17th 2024 peacefully in his 95th year, after a brief illness surrounded by his family and in the compassionate care of Liz, Pat and their amazing team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing home, Greystones. Beloved husband of the late Teresa (Tess) Rooney (née McSharry). Remembered with love by his devoted daughter Jenny, his son John, son-in-law Peter O’Connor, grandson John, sisters-in-law Jacinta and Shirley, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass on Saturday (December 21st) at 10.30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Putland Road, Bray, (Funeral Mass can be viewed live on the parish webcam https://queenofpeace.ie) after which John will be laid to rest with his beloved Tess in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
