John "Rory" Garvey

John passed away peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gertrude. John is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Nancy J., his sons, John P. Garvey, Jr. and his wife Gloria and Thomas D. Garvey and his wife Jennifer his brothers, Killian Garvey (Greystones) and Neil Garvey (Tuam), his sister, Deirdre Cosgrove (Westport). John is also survived by his grandchildren Katherine, Stephanie, Alexandra, Michelle, Christina, Thomas, Juliette, and Sean, relatives and friends.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 5th, 2025, at 11:30 o’c at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, Florida.
John will be laid to rest on in the Memorial Garden at Our Lady of Light.

John will be remembered on Friday morning at the 10 o’c Mass

in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam.
