Late of Axel, Netherlands and formerly Foxrock, Co. Dublin and Birmingham, England. Passed away in his sleep at De Vurrsche Aged Care Centre. John was survived by Chris and their children and spouses Nigel and Maureen, Hazel and Theo, Peter and Kinta. He was the grandfather of Adam and Lucy; Leon, Holly, Tara and Pippa; Louis, Art and Alana, and great-grandfather of Raiden, Kaleb and Willow.
His remains have been sent for medical research according to his wishes. A memorial event will be arranged for a later date.
