John Sarsfield

The death has occurred of John Sarsfield, Togher Road, Salterstown, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family, aged 88 years. John, beloved husband of the late Carmel (née McShane). Deeply loved and mourned by his son Noel and his partner Glenda, son Padraig and his partner Helen and daughter Ann, cherished grandfather to Joanna, Anna, Daniel and Leon, dearly loved great-grandfather to Ethan and Arabella. Sadly missed by his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence (A92 P744) on Wednesday from 3pm. Removal on Friday afternoon to Saint Finian’s Church, Dillonstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Kilsaran Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left in the Condolence section below.
