The death has occurred of
John SCANLON
John, peacefully after a short illness at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his twin sister Joan, his parents Julia and Patrick and his sisters Patty and Susie. Loving and much loved husband of Maria. Sadly missed by his family, sisters Eileen and Mary, brothers Patrick, Geoff and Donal, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many dear colleagues, neighbours and good friends.

John will be reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ashbourne, (A84CX52) from 6 o'clock to 7 o'clock this Monday evening (10th January). Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne at 11.30 am. Burial in Glasnevin Cemetery afterwards. Strict Covid restrictions will be adhered to at all times.
Donations to The Irish Cancer Society in lieu of flowers if desired. For those who cannot attend a personal message for the family may be left in the Condolence section below.
