John (Seán) Byrne

The death has occurred of John (Seán) Byrne, Hammondstown, Dunleer, peacefully after a short illness at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Seán, beloved husband of the late Bernadette (née Fulcher) and loving father of Bernadette, Georgina, Derek, Deborah, Jerome and Jonathan. Predeceased by his parents George and Bridget, his sisters Kathleen, Josephine and Briege and grandson Gerard. Adored grandfather of Michael, Rosie, Patrick, Tomás, Caoimhe, Darragh, Odhrán, Ruairí, Finn, Tiarnan, Shauna, Eva and Áoife. Sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Tracy, Una and Paola, sons in-law Keiran, Kevin and Steve, brothers Michael, Oliver and Gerry, sisters Mary, Frances, Patricia and Teresa, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and his many friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning from the Funeral Home arriving for Funeral Mass in celebration of his life, at St. Brigid’s Church, Dunleer at 12 noon which can be viewed live at https://www.dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/. Burial afterwards in Mosstown Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers donate to the Palliative Care Team, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
