John (Seán) Dowling

Dowling John (Seán), 24th October 2025, Mourne Road, Drimnagh, peacefully, after a very short illness, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; Adored husband of Rita, loving dad of David and John, a much-loved father-in-law of Claire and treasured grandad of Karen, Mark and Hannah. Seán is predeceased by his cherished sister Sheila.

Seán will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Seán rest in peace.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday (28th October 2025) from 5pm to 7pm.

Seán’s family and friends are invited to a graveside Celebration of Life on Wednesday in Newlands Cross Cemetery arriving for 12 noon.
