The death has occurred of
John (Seán) Francis McSweeney
John (Seán) Francis McSweeney of Carrickfergus, County Antrim and previously of Newcestown, County Cork, died peacefully at his home on the 11thJune 2023 surrounded by his dear friends Maura and Brighde Best. Son of the late Dan and Nora McSweeney, brother of the late Mary, Michael and Donal. Seán will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and large circle of friends.
Lying in repose at his home 18 Quayside Carrickfergus. Visitors welcome on Monday (12th) 7:00-9:00pm and Tuesday (13th) 2:00-7:00pm. House private on morning of funeral. Seán will leave his home on Wednesday, 14th June, at 10:45am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am in St. Nicholas' Catholic Church, Carrickfergus BT38 8AU. Mass can be viewed live via https://www.carrickparish.org/
Burial will follow at Victoria Cemetery.
