John (Sean) Lyons

Dedham, MA, U.S.A. and formerly Cloonoo, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

Who passed away peacefully Tuesday, 9th November 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his loving parents Michael and Delia (Callanan) brothers Paddy, Seamus, Michael-Joseph and nephew Gerard.

 

Sean will be sadly missed by his loving wife Veronica T. (Power) of 67 years.

Ever loving father of John (Jay) Lyons and his wife Mary of Norwood, Ann Harvis and her husband Adam of Sherburne, NY, and Ellen Llewellyn and her husband David of Midlothian, VA. Cherished grandfather of Stephen, Jennifer, Lynne and her husband Christopher, Christopher M., Matthew, and Kerri. Cherished great-grandfather of Connor and Addison.

Deeply mourned by his loving sister-in-law Kathleen (Cloonoo).

Cherished uncle to nieces Mary and Catherine, nephews Joe, Brendan, Michael, Seamus, Oliver, Joey, Kevin and Robbie.

 

Sean’s Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, the 13th November 2021, in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. U.S.A time 3pm Irish Time followed by burial in New Westwood Cemetery MA, U.S.A.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John’s name to the African Mission Fathers, 337 Common St., Dedham, MA 02026.
