Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of St Joseph’s Ward at St Vincent’s University Hospital, and previously in the wonderful care of The Fern Dean Nursing Home, Blackrock. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn and father of John, Paul, Stephen and Sarah. He will be missed terribly by his daughters-in-law Rebecca, Lydia and Kerri, son-in-law Conor and by his grandchildren, whom he adored, Chloe, Amelie, JJ, Aaron, Avah, Amelya, Beauden, Posie and Zeph. He will be deeply missed by his sisters Patricia, Kathryn and Margi, his brothers Mick, Paul, Kieron and Charlie, his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and the many friends who loved him.
John leaves behind laughter, stories, and a family who will forever cherish the joy he brought into their lives.
Rest in Peace
Removal on Friday morning (12th December) to the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
