John (Seán) SCALLY

The death has occurred on Monday, October 6th of John (Seán) Scally of “Hillcrest”, Coole, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath; peacefully, following a short illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his son Carl. Cherished husband of Audrey, devoted father to Noel, Lynn and Olivia, brother to Jimmy, grandfather to Christopher, Mikey, Adam, Peter and Gemma, and great-grandfather to Lillie and Blake. John will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, son-in-law Christy, and extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Mullingar (N91 D232) on Wednesday, October 8th from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Coole on Thursday, October 9th, arriving for 2pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Whitehall Cemetery.
