John (Sean) Whelan

John (Sean) Whelan, (Tallaght and late of Ballyfermot), passed away peacefully on the 24th May 2021, surrounded by his loving wife and sister and in the kind care of the staff of TLC, Nursing Home, Citywest; beloved husband of Marie and loving father of Kevin, Ciara, Claire, Helen and Patricia and loving brother of Ann, Mary, Sé and Peter. Sadly missed by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law, grandchildren Luka, Aimee, Orla, Liam, Cathal, Emma, Saoirse, Dylan and Robert, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Sean rest in peace 

In line with Government/HSE advice and to ensure the safety of all Sean’s family and friends, a small funeral will be held in private. His family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew Sean would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory. Messages of support can be left in the online condolence book below.
