John Shannon
John Shannon of Seamount Drive, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow.
April 1st 2025 peacefully at his daughter’s home in Glenealy. Remembered with love by his family, children Teresa, Marie, John, Thomas, Martin, Margaret, Esther, Peter, Bernadette, Bridget and their mother Margaret, fifteen grandchildren, sister Kate, brothers Frank and Seamus, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his home (Seamount Drive) Thursday April 3rd from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral cortège will walk from The Town House pub, Newtownmountkennedy on Friday morning at 10.45am arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Main Street Newtownmountkennedy for 11am funeral Mass after which John will be laid to rest in Priest Newtown Cemetery, Kilquade.
