The death has occurred of
John Sheehan
SHEEHAN (Baurgorm, Bantry and formerly of Cloghane Carhan, Aghatubrid, Cahirciveen) On August 26, 2021 peacefully at Bantry General Hospital, JOHN, beloved husband of the late Theresa (née Leahy), loving son of the late Tom and Nora, dear brother of Sheila Coffey (Cahirciveen), the late Maura McSweeney (Glenbeigh) and Bridie Kelly (Cahirciveen), brother-in-law to the late Sheila McDonagh, Nuala Leahy-McCormack, Michael and Finbarr Leahy. Sadly missed by his sister, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
John’s funeral will take place in accordance with Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings. Requiem Mass (max. 50 people) on Saturday August 28, at 2.30pm at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (live streamed on www.bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital.
