The death has occurred of
John SHIELDS
John Shields, Monday 17th May 2021. Unexpectedly at his residence in Oldcastle. Predeceased by his dad Hughie. He will be sadly missed by his loving mother Mary (née O'Hanlon), sons Aaron and Joshua, daughters Rebecca and Hannah and their mother Karen, brothers Georgie and Hughie, sisters Ann, Katie, Margaret and Mary, brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, uncles, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Due to ongoing restrictions on funeral ceremonies, John's funeral will be private for family and close friends with Church numbers limited. The community may wish to show their support to the family when the cortege leaves the family home in St. Nicholas' Avenue on Friday morning at 10.40am proceeding on foot to St. Nicholas' Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk.
