The death has occurred of
JOHN SWEENEY
Sweeney (Ballyfeard, Minane Bridge and formerly of Clonakilty) On September 13th 2025, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Marymount, John, beloved husband of Annmarie and loving father of Lisa and Shane. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Kassie, Ava, Evan, Ellie, Aoife, Jack and Caragh, son-in-law John, Shane’s partner Jena, extended family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Tuesday (16th) from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (17th) at 12:00noon in the Sacred Heart Church, Minane Bridge. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium.
