John Taaffe

The death has occurred of John Taaffe (Snr.), Dromin, Dunleer, peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family. John, beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née McKeever) and loving father of Mary (Gorman), John and Olive. Predeceased by his brother James and sisters Mary, Kathleen, Anne, Gertie, Carmel and Breda. Sadly missed by his son, daughters, daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Gary, grandchildren Declan, Joseph, Emmett, Katie, Ellen, Mary, Grace and Pearce, sisters Eithne and Sr. Elizabeth, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May John Rest in Peace

Reposing at his residence (Eircode A92 X368) from 2pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm to Saint Finian’s Church, Dromin arriving for Evening Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
