John Tiernan

The death has occurred of John Tiernan, Corraneary, Aughavas, Co. Leitrim, Friday 18th August 2023 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife; Marcella (née Early) and his parents; Edward and Kate Tiernan.

John will be sadly missed by his cousins, brother-in-law; Bernie Early (Mary), Marcella's niece; Michelle, nephews; John (Ali) and Brendan (Diane), friend; Gloria, extended family, neighbours and friends.

John will lie in repose at Smith’s Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim (Eircode N41 TD62) on Sunday 20th August from 5.00pm - 7.00pm and on Monday from 6.00pm - 8.00pm.

Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph's Church, Aughavas on Tuesday 22nd August at 12 noon followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery.
