The death has occurred of
John Twomey
TWOMEY (Cork) On 30th November 2025, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital, JOHN, Knockpogue Park, Farranree and late of Mount Nebo Avenue, Gurranabraher. Dearly beloved husband of Sheila (nee Long) and much loved father of Shirley, Lorna and Gregg, dearest granda of Pheobe and Faye and father-in-law of David and Miriam.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (2nd December) at 2.00pm, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (3rd December) at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Currgahkippane. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount.
