The death has occurred of John Walkin of, Bohernasup, Ballina, Co. Mayo after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his family.
John predeceased by his parents Paddy and Kitty Walkin and his brother Tony.
Beloved husband of Colette and dear father to Cleona and John-Bosco. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, son, adored grandchildren Kate and Alex, son-in-law Matthew, sister Maura Gannon, brothers PJ, Gerry, Eamon, Séamus, and Vincent, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Thursday evening 6th June from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.
Funeral will arrive to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Friday morning, 7th June, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
John’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Fr Peyton Memorial Centre Ballina care of McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina.
