John Wallin

Wallin (Leap): The Death Has Occurred of John Wallin. Dromillihy, Leap, Co Cork (formerly Birmingham,UK), retired Manager of Rover Motors UK.

On July 10th 2025, peacefully and in the exceptional and wonderful care of the Matron and staff of Skibbereen Community Hospital. John beloved husband and best friend of Kath, (Kathleen, née O Shea, Clonakilty) and uncle of Charlotte. Sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife, niece, Charlotte’s family Nigel, Ellen, Daniel and Bella and his cousins in the UK. Particular mention to his exceptionally good friends of many years since relocating to Leap, Breda Shanahan, Rose Whooley, Patrick and Mary O' Mahony and Mary Nyhan, and in later years Leo O' Driscoll. He will also be dearly missed by the wider Leap Community as he was instrumental in all things community focused over the past 30 years. His contributions will be remembered and missed by all in the community especially by his friends in the Leap and Glandore Senior Citizens Group.
