John passed away peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones, following a long battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his beloved father John and brother Connor, remembering also the recent passing of his siser Nora. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, his sons Conor (Brighton) and Phillip and his wife Kailen (Hull), his mother Therese, his sisters Anne, Helen, and Sara, his brothers Mark, David and Neil, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

His family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to him by the Green Cancer Centre in Brockton, Massachusetts as well as the VNA.

John's ashes will be interred in the New Cemetery, Athenry at 5:00pm on Saturday September 13th. followed by Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27) at 6:30pm. Mass will be live streamed on the Weblink below.
