John Walsh

The death has occurred of John Walsh, Canrawer, Oughterard, (former vice principal at St Paul’s Secondary School, Oughterard), Co. Galway, on the 1st February 2023, in the care of Galway Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brother Paddy. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters Sinead, Maeve and Sheila, siblings Mary, Thomas, Ina, Michael, Liam and Dermot, sons in law Brian and Gavin, grandchildren Blaise and Eve, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at The Family Funeral Home, Oughterard (H91 EV52), on 3rd February, from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm, to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Oughterard. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 4th of February, at 11am in Oughterard Church. Burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery, Oughterard. Family flowers only. House private, by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice.
