John Walsh

The death has occurred of John Walsh, Cordoolough, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan formerly of Dublin and Waterford, suddenly on Sunday, 25th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family. John is predeceased by his Father John Sr and brother-in-law John. John will be deeply missed by his loving wife Martina, son Seán, daughters Catherine and Mary-Stella, Mother Joyce, brothers David (Francis) and Thomas (Christina), sister-in-law Mary and brothers-in-law Hugh Joe and Seamus, his nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

May John’s Gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace

John will repose at his home on Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm until 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning to The Most Holy Rosary Church Tullycorbet for 11am funeral mass followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.

A shuttle bus will run from Tullycorbet church (eircode A75 N660) each evening.
