John Weir

The death has occurred of John Weir, Rosmead, Delvin and formerly of Slanemore, Mullingar and Rathowen, Co. Westmeath, in his 102nd year, peacefully on the 18th July, 2024 in the care of the staff of Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham. Predeceased by his wife Angela, parents Patrick and Catherine, his sisters Monica, Dora, Frances, Carmel and Maureen. John will be sadly missed by his nephew P.J., cousins, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Ennis's Funeral Home, Killucan (Eircode N91NN12) this Saturday evening from 5pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Monday morning at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Walshestown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
