John Whelan

The death has occurred, in his 57th year, of John Whelan, Tenure House, Dunleer, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family. John, beloved husband of Noeleen (née McDonnell) and loving father of Fran, Katie and Joe. Predeceased by his parents Fran and Renee. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughter, brother Paul, sisters Joan, Cora, Catherine and Yvonne, father-in-law Noel, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at his home (A92 XRH4) on Friday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30am, walking from his home to The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Tenure arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at https://www.churchservices.tv/monasterboice. Committal Ceremony will follow in Lakelands Crematorium at 3pm.
