Peacefully surrounded by his family in the kind and gentle care of the staff in Silverstream Nursing Home, Dundalk. Pre-deceased by his parents Owen & Catherine, brothers Owen-Joe, Oliver and Tommy (Thomas), sisters Bridget, Margaret, Kathleen & Rosie. John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Mary, sister-in-law Maura, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved him.

John will be reposing in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91PV07) on Wednesday afternoon between 3 o'clock and 7 o'clock for family and friends to call. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30 via Cortial to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley (Eircode A91 XV99) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock (click the link below), followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
