The death has occurred of Johnny Carey, Pluckstown, Athboy and formerly of Foxpoint, Belmullet, Co. Mayo. Peacefully, after a short illness, at The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his baby son Alan, parents Pete and Kate, brothers Peter, Jimmy and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife Mary, daughters Lisa, Catherine and Edele, his grandaughter Darcie, sisters Eileen Doherty and his twin sister Mary O'Donnell, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, O'Growney St., Athboy, from 4.30 pm to 8 pm this Friday evening. Removal on Saturday morning, leaving his residence to St. James' Church, Athboy, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in St. James' Cemetery.
